Shadows of Light
BACKGROUND
A series of three typographic posters to promote a hypothetical architecture exhibition that represents the concept of the event through single words and handcrafted letterforms.
STRATEGY
Architecture and light share an intimate relationship. Vision enhanced by light helps us perceive a space, in its form, color, texture and dimensions. Liminal Spaces is an exhibition that explores these invisible light sources that render spaces and create illusions to transform our perceptions of mass, touch and reality. The letterforms were created with transparent materials, like glass plates, plastic straw and acrylic paper illuminated through natural and artificial lighting to capture the unseen role of light in creating fluid lightscapes, lucid forms and vivid illusions.
