Josh Micro
BACKGROUND
Josh Micro is a premium voice-command home controller for luxury homes. This multi-function home control interface allows users to simply ask for their favorite song, dim the lights, raise the shades, adjust their room temperature, or set all with just a tap or a voice request.
STRATEGY
Josh Micro was designed with the goal to distill home control down to its simplest form, providing an effortless interaction in any environment. Inspiration for the package design came from the simplicity of the product experience, highlighting only the smart touch ring around the edge of the surface. The matte black finish of the outer box with the Josh logo in a spot UV finish was to achieve a high-end and sophisticated look. The interiors of the package was two-tiered, built with high-density foam to fit the device while providing an unique unboxing experience.
