BACKGROUND

 

The next generation of Echo Show 5 Kids is built for kids to learn, play, and explore. Kids can ask Alexa for homework help, create their bedtime routines, play music, and make calls to parent-approved contacts. Easy-to-use controls let parents set time limits and review activity. The newest Echo show 5 also comes in a fun galaxy themed design.

Echo Show 5 Kids brings the power of Alexa into a child’s world—designed to help kids learn, play, and stay connected in a safe, parent-approved environment. Our strategy was to position the device as a playful gateway to discovery, blending entertainment, creativity, and learning while reassuring parents through built-in controls and curated content.​

PROCESS

 

The visual direction leans into bold colors, whimsical illustrations, and expressive UI moments, with an organic page flow that mirrors a childlike sense of exploration — creating a fun, approachable experience designed just for kids. I designed the product detail page for launch, drawing inspiration from the product’s galaxy-themed ID to shape the layout and visual storytelling. Translating the campaign assets into the page, I created a playful, product-forward experience that highlights kid-friendly features like Alexa interactions, entertainment, and built-in parental controls—balancing a sense of wonder for kids with clarity and trust for parents.

The detail page has an organic, story-like flow that guides customers through moments of learning, play, and connection, all through a fun galaxy-themed journey.​
